We are seeing so many women coming in with adrenal fatigue! Those little babies are just tapped out (I picture a back yard clothes line with a row of wrinkly, wrung out wash clothes hung out on that line just flapping in the breeze). Sorry, I am one of those visual people and that’s how I picture those poor little depleted adrenals. Just trying to eeek out enough go-juice to keep us from crashing. What’s going on???

Well, first of all, we are all forgetting that we need to rest and just do nothing sometimes. Without the phone (ahem).

Secondly, we are often depleted nutritionally. You wouldn’t put crappy year-old lawnmower gasoline out of the rusty garage gas can in your nice car would you? And expect it not to sputter and choke? So why are some people doing that to their bodies?

And no, that cheap drug store vitamin is not going to cut it. We need the good stuff!

OK, so no one is perfect but there are things you can do to actually heal and rebuild your adrenals WHILE you are going full speed ahead. And while you are trying to improve your diet.

  1. Lots of vitamin C. Yes, a few thousand mg of C a day can help rebuild your adrenals. If you take a few thousand (timed release so you don’t have to race to the bathroom) and you feel your body say “Ahhhhh” within a few hours you know that you’ve hit pay dirt. Keep going.
  2. B vitamins. Especially B5 (Pantothenic Acid). You can also take a stress B Complex, methyl version, if need be.
  3. Ashwaganda, it is adaptogenic so it goes and does what it needs to do.

So if you can’t slow things down too much at least throw some good nutrients in there to refuel and rebuild with.

Try it for a month or two and see if it doesn’t make a difference! And as always, let us know if we can help.

Blessings,
Catherine
